Earlier this week week caught up with beauty maven Millie Kendall, who has not only launched many many beauty brands over the years (including her own) but is also co-founder of cult beauty destination BeautyMART. Our task this time? To discover exactly which beauty products this beauty expert just can’t live without. Pay attention people because it’s most likely that you could do with this lovely lot in your beauty bag too!
Gucci make-up bag - I bought this is Taiwan when I was on a trip of the Far East. Everything designer was a fraction of the price at home, so I shopped…
Chanel Poudre Universelle Compacte Pressed Powder in Translucent, £33 - I nicked it from Sharon Dowsett's studio, I prefer a matt finish - I'm quite old-fashioned like that, I learned to do make-up the Japanese way.
Rimmel Kate Lasting Finish Lipstick in Classic Red, £5.49- If I'm wearing lipstick I want a proper lipstick and this a proper, lipstick.
YSL Touche Brillance, Sparkling Touch for Lips in No.2, £22- I bought this by mistake (I wanted Touché Eclat) and I went to put it only my eyes then realised. It's great for creating a nice pout over a lipstick base.
Balance Me Super Moisturising Hand Cream, from £6.00- I use this because Anna told me to - and now I'm hooked.
Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Lip Balm Stain in Lovesick, £7.99- I like the flavour and the way it doesn't need sharpening.
TopShop Make-up Blush in Morning Dew, £6- It's so easy to use and the perfect peachy colour that doesn't need to be applied perfectly.
Shiseido Lacquer Rouge lips gloss, £23.50- Shu Uemura used a lip colour in the Nineties, 908 a perfect warm beige, and I'm always looking for version of that.
Revlon Grow Luscious Plumping Mascara, £9.99 - I've about 3 eyelashes so I need this. It doesn't feel as if I'm wearing a thick, heavy mascara, but it really makes the lashes look full.
