The 1970s will always provide us with full-on gloss inspiration so it comes as no surprise to see the era inspired many of the beauty looks during the Spring Summer 2014 shows. Of course, one iconic figure of the '70s was Farrah Fawcett and the actress' flicky bouffant was spotted many a time backstage as a source of hairspiration. So how to get that golden glow?

Look to D Squared who perfected the retro look with a golden brown eye and that iconic perm. Calvin Klein and Emilio Pucci added a slight hint of bronze for a more muted bronze palette while the models at Diane von Furstenberg looked like they'd just returned from a trip to the South of France. Meanwhile, Chloe and Daks ventured more towards the browner hues, giving definition to the eyes with coffee-coloured shadow. And it comes as no surprise to see Gucci nailing the golden goddess look seamlessly.
