Want An A-List Haircut? Book Yourself In To George Northwood’s New London Salon

When you become dubbed London’s official go-to man for a ‘cool haircut’, you know you’re on to something big. And that something big is George Northwood, stylist to the stars and the fashion elite and quite the wizz when it comes to a pair of scissors and a head of hair. George is the man responsible for Alexa Chung’s infamous tousled style, counts Rosie Huntington-Whiteley as a loyal client (and BFF according to his Instagram feed) and regularly works on shoots for us Grazia girls. George’s cutting skills have also earned him a well-deserved reputation in Hollywood, leading him to work closely with the likes of Julianne Moore, Cameron Diaz and even Gwyneth Paltrow.

So, you can only imagine the tremors of excitement on the Grazia beauty desk this morning when we heard that Mr Northwood would be opening his very first London salon THIS month. With less than 3 weeks to go until the opening of the salon, we’re clearing some serious space in our diaries. After all, the ‘Alexa’ and the ‘Rosie’ are two of the world’s most requested haircuts, so we reckon you’re in seriously good hands. Although the salon isn't officially open yet, you can certainly call ahead to secure your spot...

Plus, a little birdie tells us that the salon will be the place to hang out come May. With an uber-relaxed, members club vibe, free wifi and open desk space, you’ll be able to check your emails and catch up on the news all whilst sipping a deliciously frothy cappuccino and being coiffed by George himself. After all, if it’s good enough for Rosie…
