Rachel McAdams' Hairvolution From Blonde Beehives To Pink Streaks

18 April 2013 by

It’s not often that our girl crushes last longer than a month, tops, but ever since we locked eyes on her as Regina George in Mean Girls in 2005, we’ve been massive fans of all the incredible beauty looks she has pulled off.  Not only is Rachel an amazing actress, having starred in some of our fave blockbusters including Wedding Crashers, Sherlock Holmes, The Time Traveller’s Wife and Midnight in Paris, but she really is one heck of a beauty trendsetter, especially when it comes to her ever-changing tresses. A real colour chameleon, Ms McAdams has proved herself to be totally fearless when it comes to her cuts and colours.

We first got to know her in a blonde wig (this is no joke) in Mean Girls, then with a burnished orange ‘do in The Notebook, and then as a brunette in The Wedding Crashers. Over the years, this Hollywood starlet has experimented with blunt bangs, dabbled in neon pink and gone from blonde to brunette countless times!

With her newest ruby hue on display last week at the premiere of To The Wonder (we heart that sleek topknot by the way, Rach!), the actress claimed that the reason she went red was because it was “the only colour left”! To brighten up your morning, we’ve pulled together some of her hottest hairstyles especially for you.  Check out her hairvolution in the gallery above…
