Movie Hair Moments: Kelly Osbourne As Wanda Woodward, Rihanna As Sandy Olsen, Diane Kruger As Princess Leia And More

When Kelly Osbourne attended Beyonce's gig at the Staples Center in Los Angeles last week she made an extra special effort with her beauty look. The Fashion Police presenter who has experimented with her hair colour and then some in the past is currently sporting lilac locks and has been looking to one of her favourite films for inspiration of ways to style them. Cry Baby is the classic teen musical by John Waters starring Johnny Depp and Ricki Lake and aside from the fabulous throwback 1950s costumes - think leather jackets, prom dresses and turned up jeans - Johnny's quiff alone could give Harry Styles and Nick Grimshaw a run for their money.

However, there was only one character who Kelly was channeling on her big night out - Wanda Woodward played by Traci Lords. The blonde bombshell's bouffant is a fabulous combination of blunt fringe and slicked back curls and Miss Osbourne pulled off the look in spectacular fashion. She tweeted, "Getting ready for the @Beyoncé show tonight so I'm putting in my #weave in honor of #QueenB my #hairspiration for tonight is #WondaWoodward #crybaby".

Kelly's not the only one copying iconic big screen hairstyles. Bessies Rihanna and Katy Perry appear to be auditioning for a remake of Grease with their choice of red carpet tresses. RiRi stepped out in an almost exact replica of Sandy Olsen's bad gal costume from the film's finale, including a mop of bouncy curls, red lipstick and a leather jacket, while Katy, in one of her hair colour incarnations, went candy floss like Frenchy with obligatory Pink Lady apparel.

Jennifer Lawrence has had two unintentional movie hair moments since revealing her pixie cut. Firstly when it was slicked down she was a double for Helen in Sliding Doors, played by Gwyneth Paltrow, then at the Madrid premiere of Hunger Games: Catching Fire her texturised 'do was given a life of it's own. Jutting out in all directions, her bold quiff resembled that questionable hair flick showcased by Cameron Diaz in There's Something About Mary.
