Lady GaGa in 'Sin City 2: A Dame To Kill For' - Her Best Wig Moments

Lady Gaga in the new Sin City film

You know the old acting advice: break a leg, never work with children or animals, always bring your own wigs...

Lady Gaga's landed herself a cameo role in the Robert Rodriguez's Sin City sequel (out on August 25th) - and she came prepared. Rodriguez told E! News 'She was ready. She brought her own wigs! I said, 'We're not going to have time to make a wig for you'".

Cleary, that's not a prob for our fave eccentric singer who maybe has a selection of wigs ('70s, Halloween, cheerleader) on her rider at all times. Rodriguez was desperate to have Gaga in the film after having worked with her on another piece, "Machete Kills' - who knew the singer-turned-actress was as arresting on screen as she is on stage?

The challenge was finding a part small enough that Gaga could fit into her hectic touring schedule, and so when the role of a waitress came up, Rodriguez offered the role - the only condition being that she would need to costume herself. Which is kind of like asking Mary Berry if she minds bringing dessert.

Gaga was more than happy to accept - before becoming Lady G, she studied drama and so probably loved the chance to brush up on her acting chops. We know she's a great performer, but it seems her skills don't just end with music video choreography.

According to Rodriguez, "She showed up, we did the scene, she knocked it out of the park and then she was back on tour...she would be fantastic [as an actress]. She's performed twice for me now and I was blown away by her discipline."
