As Kate Middleton Updates Her Hair, We Remember The Duchess' Best Tressed Moments

28 November 2012 by

Never did we think we would see the day when Kate Middleton would transform her super sleek locks but here we are, gobsmacked in the Grazia office by her new hair update. She attended the opening of the Treasury Gallery in London wearing a gorgeous green Mulberry frock teamed with a flicky Farrah Fawcett-esque fringe. Fab! We aren’t sure exactly when the transformation took place but we do know that sometime since Remembrance Sunday, Kate hit the hairdressers for a snip to bring new life to her famous locks.

It’s certain that the Duchess has come a long way from THAT fashion show where she apparently first caught Prince William’s eye. You know, the one where she was clad in a skimpy, see-through dress, her hair styled in tight ringlets with braids running through? Yup. Since then, the Queen-to-be has become synonymous for her luscious locks and bountiful curls, even to the point where her style hasn’t been adjusted for years. It's become a hugely popular style to emulate - there’s few girls who haven’t tried to recreate Kate’s perfect look, but not many who have succeeded.
The coiffure upheaval, which has left The Duchess of Cambridge with what we're dubbing an invisible fringe, has got us remembering Kate’s bang-free days, so what better time to relive her hair history than now? All the way back to Kate aged 5. Cute!

The question is: do you prefer Kate’s hair make over with her the '70s inspired fringe? Flick through the gallery above and let us know...
