It's All About Next Season's Retro Sixties Hair: Find Out Which Styles We'll Be Trying

Kate Moss Walking At Louis Vuitton

So we might not even be close to summer yet with this sudden cold snap but we're already obsessing over the recent Autumn Winter shows and in particular the underground trend we noticed emerging for a bit of a sixties hair do. We're not talking about a typical sixties style though.  We're over the obvious sixties styles such as the beehive, instead, we're going to be channeling the insider sixties hair that we saw backstage.

At Louis Vuitton, hair god Guido's Audrey Hepburn inspired wigs were cut into pixie crops and micro fringes (as seen on Audrey), causing a huge storm amongst the FROW, which was followed by hundreds of column inches on the striking style that Kate Moss rocked down the catwalk.  We're prediciting the petite bob to be next season's hottest crop.

Loewe's subtle beehive, was a clear nod to the sixties vibe but made modern with it's lifted crown and low ponytail.  It's these subtle nods to the stylish sixties that we're loving. Like an 'insider sixties', it's one way to work a retro hair style without having to change your wardrobe.

The low, side sweeping fringes at Rag and Bone, Tom Ford and Paul Smith are the perfect way to style out a grown out fringe whilst at Pucci, Luigi weaved in faux, custom colour matching fringes for all the models, reigniting our love for bangs.

We recommend avoiding retro make-up and take inspiration from Paul Smith and team your sixties 'do' with a flash of colour on your lips.
