When Jennifer Lawrence unveiled her new super-short pixie cut earlier this week, team Grazia beauty weren’t totally convinced- a little too choppy and a little too harsh for her cute feminine features, we were crossing our fingers that J-Law got to grips with her ‘do pretty soon. Well, judging by her stellar appearance on the red-carpet last night at the ‘Hunger Games: Catching Fire’ London premiere, it’s safe to stay that the 23-year old starlet was loving everything about her new beauty look, and we’re crazy about it, too!

Wearing her new shorter locks quiffed back in a sleek effect, the award winning actress looked totally flawless, and topped off her look with a simple sweep of black eyeliner and kept the rest of her face pared back with just a hint of blusher. We’ve never seen J-Law looking so sophisticated, and literally cannot stop staring at her incredible hair. Recently gone for the chop? Great news ladies, as this look is actually way easier to achieve than you think. Start by working a golf-ball size amount of Big Sexy Hair’s Root Plump Volumising Spray Mousse, £9.75 through damp hair and blow dry normally. Stand by for some serious volume and texture! Finish off the look with a spritz of Philip Kingsley’s Weatherproof Hairspray, £9.50 which will keep your style in place, whatever the weather.

Jen made sure her eyes were the main focus of her beauty look and opted for a gorgeous smokey effect with plenty of lashes to really make her peepers pop. If, like us, you still struggle to achieve a perfect smokey eye then arm yourself with a power palette like Too Faced’s Smokey Eye Palette, £26- fool proof and super-smouldering, what’s not to love?

Top off the look with a slick of pink lipstick (we’re obsessed with Maybelline’s Colour Sensational Lipstick in Stellar Pink, £7.14) and a swish of Topshop’s Illuminating Face Powder, £14, for the ultimate ethereal glow. All, ahem, fired up? We are.
