Look no further than eBay where sales of pink hair dye have soared by 243% in the last month. Wowers. According to our eBay pals, the auction site has also seen a surge in sales of blue and purple hair dye but it's the fuschia tone that proves to be most popular.
We reckon this uplift may have a little something to do with Dame Helen Mirren who rocked the BAFTA Awards earlier this year flaunting a candyfloss-coloured 'do. The Oscar-winning actress swooshed onto the red carpet wearing a grey chiffon gown by Nicholas Oakwell Couture, but it was the bright shock of colour a-top her head that stole the show.
Deciding to ditch her usual blonde bob, Helen revealed she got the idea from one of our favourite telly shows. ‘I was watching America’s Next Top Model and the season where the British girl won, she had pink hair, and I thought "That looks really pretty"', said the Dame. And what a winning choice!
