Is the main obstacle keeping you from your #fitfam, selfie-ready, athleisure-clad workouts your job? Do deadlines stop you getting on the treadmill?

Long working hours make you miss your Pilates class? Well, we've found a job that'll allow you to stick to all your fitness resolutions. The catch? You'll need to move to Turkey.

Government workers in the province of Edirne who sign up for the new programme will be allowed to come to work an hour late - if they hit the gym first.

The scheme is billed as an anti-obesity program, championed by Edirne governor Dursun Ali Sahin, who is on a mission to get people moving. He's also banned using lifts to reach the first three floors in public buildings, apart from hospitals and nursing homes.

Sahin's concern is Turkey's growing obesity rate, which has shot up by 44% in the last twelve years - although the country still doesn't rival the US in the obesity stakes.

The programme, called "Our Cure is Sport," lets participants have access to a dietitian and receive advice on what kinds of activities might be right for them. Apparently, seventy people have asked to join so far, delaying their work start time to 9.30am.

We're not quite sure how Sahin plans to police who's just working out their fingers hitting the snooze button, but we're sure he's thought of that.
