Grazia Beauty Editor Lauren Murdoch-Smith Shows Us What's In Her Make Up Bag

07 November 2012 by

This week, we caught up with Grazia's Beauty Editor Lauren Murdoch-Smith to see what a Beauty Editor carries around in her make up bag, well this week anyway!  Read on to see what products have made the edit...

"If I'm honest, I could fill my make up bag with so many different products that I would have to cart it around in a suitcase, so I'm always looking for products that are easy to use, long wearing and do what they say.  Currently, I'm using these products to get my 'trans-seasonal' face, which I'm hoping looks healthy, glowing and fresh!"

"I carry this around for any impromtu after office events.  I'm not the best at smoky eyes, in fact I need to dedicate at least half an hour to perfect and this clever Maybelliene pencil not only has mini instructions on how to use it, the smudging sponge on the other end makes it idiot proof!" Maybelline Master Smoky Shadow-Pencil £5.99

"I'm a mascara whore and will try anything in the quest for lengthier, thicker lashes.  Thankfully this MAC mascara ticks all my mascara boxes" MAC False Lashes False Balck Mascara £18

"I wouldn't leave the house without mascara and blusher and when this new Benefit Fine One One (coming out in February) landed on my desk last week I couldn't believe my luck.  It's a tricolour of cream blusher in a stick.  There's a pink, coral and my favourite part, a highlighter that mixes together for the glowiest cheeks with no blending required-genius!".

L'Occitane Pivoine Flora Hand Cream £8 "I love a mini and nothing beats a luxury one!  I don't go anywhere without it as it's the only cream that's up to the task of hydrating my hands!"

"I'm a sucker for nude lips and I think I try every shade of nude that comes our way but this is my staple lippie that I can rely on" Estee Lauder Pure Color Lisptick in Vanilla Truffle £19.50

"I pick up Homeoplasmine £8.49 whilst in Paris.  I use it on my lips but it's great on any dry or chapped skin so great if you're travelling!"

"I'm currently obsesed with Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-In Palce Concealer SPF 10 £20 it's really helping me out with my dark circles and blemishes.  Thank goodness!"
