Pixie Lott wore a yellow one to the WSGN Global Fashion Awards, Delta Goodrem a red one to the Emirates Melbourne Cup and so it's official: floral headbands are hot hair news. With both ladies wearing floral creations across the world on the very same night, we've got to thinking about we can work the look ourselves.
The original inspiration? Think a '90s Drew Barrymore as the ultimate flower hippie meets Coachella Festival goer meets hipster wedding hair. The look may be a liiiiiitle bit bridal, but it's feminine, fun and eye-catching so we LOVE.
Need proof that the fash pack are going crazy for garlands? Look no further than the Anna Sui front row which was more Secret Garden Party than New York Fashion Week, as Alexa Chung and her gang ditched classic NY blow drys for tousled locks and flower bands.
The look has gone from Coachella to the catwalk, as the Dolce & Gabbana Autumn Winter 2012 collection had plenty of oh-so-pretty floral headbands gracing the model army. Remember when Kirsten Dunst wore her Dolce band with a twisted up do for the Cannes Film Festival?
There have been a rainbow of floral bands on the red carpet too - Keira Knightley chose red, Rihanna opted for pink and Peaches Geldof went white. But never one to be outdone, the biggest volume of flowers goes to Lady Gaga who wore an actual bouquet on her head for Philip Treacy's London Fashion Week shindig.
