Earlier this week we caught up with Cult Beauty co-founder and all round beauty expert Alexia Inge to discover which beauty belongings she couldn’t live without. Read on to find out all about her faves.
MV Organic Skincare Rose Soothing & Protecting Moisturiser, £18.00 - Dry skin is the top cause of fine lines and lacking luminosity and mine is naturally parched; so like Rosie Huntington-Whitley I always carry a mini pot of this beauty. The Bulgarian rose makes it smell so enveloping-ly wholesome.
DJV Fibrewig Mascara, £18.00 - This has been the top-selling mascara in Japan for the past 10 years and it’s not hard to see why. Boosted with nylon filaments, it's like a lash toupé it adds so much length. The DJV Volume Lash version is great for a high impact evening look.
MyFace MyCover Concealer in shade 02, £11.99 - Now that we are heading into autumn, my skin is taking on its blotchier winter mantle and I need to start upping my complexion products. I love this concealer which veils skin imperfections without suffocating the surface.
Japonesque Brushes from £12.75 - My top tip for make up application is a good brush kit and I am a total covert to the brishes from Japonesque, especially their foundation, blusher and chisel-shaped eyeshadow brushes. These gorgeous must haves are essential for a flawless finish.
Anastasia Eyeliner Pencils - Coming soon to Cult Beauty from Anastasia Beverly Hills we have found the most fantastic eyeliner pencils that go on smoothly, smudge perfectly and once they’ve set they don't budge, seriously! All in the interests of beauty science I committed the cosmetic sin of sleeping in my makeup and lo and behold I woke up ready to go! A cult Christmas party must-have I feel.
Lip Tar by Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics, £11.50 - This product is my sure go-to for the party season. Somewhere between a lipstick and a gloss, the matte pigment is so rich that a pea sized blob is all it takes. I'm in LOVE with the Pretty Boy and NSFW shades.
Coach Makeup Pouch - My business partner Jessica Deluca gave me this rather snazzy make up bag from Coach – let’s just say my one previous wasn’t fit for a beauty writer... I love the gorgeous clutch like structure and handy handbag size.
Ellis Faas metallic Eyeshadows, £26 - I have officially fallen in love with these beauties. Their milky colours and creamy textures are so easy to use and you can even go swimming in them (if you feel so inclined)! "Lights" is my absolute fave - perfect for the party season!
Pommade Divine Pot, £11.95 - This has to be my essential lipbalm. The clove, nutmeg & cinnamon recipe is 200 years old and I have yet to find a balm that’s as moisturising and healing. And it’s not just restricted to lips – I use it on my cuticles, eyes or just about anywhere that needs a hydration boost during the bitter winter months.
