Trend Tuesday: Join This Season's New Colour Club!

09 October 2012 by

In this week’s issue (out today just in case you didn’t know), we bring you the five hottest autumn/winter hair colour trends that you need to know about now and moreover, tell you exactly how to achieve them.  “Just the thing to get us our autumn look back on track we hear you cry!” And you would be correct of course!

Not only will you want to try each and every one of these five irresistible new hues - from Hitchcock Blonde, to the Boosted Brunette, Primary Colour Club, Ombre Finish and the Rocky Reds vs. Raven Black Movement, we’re pretty sure that you’ll also be racing to get your hands on the bevy of delicious nourishing products designed to cater for coloured hair too.

Here in the office Beauty Editor Lauren Murdoch Smith was inspired to take her hair admittedly not to Hitchcock Blonde levels, but 4 shades lighter and have 8 inches chopped off its length too. “I wanted a change for winter and because my wardrobe seems to be shaping up to be quite grown up and serious this season, I decided to go for a lighter blonde and serious chop to keep things young and fun.”  Features Assistant Jo Oliver meanwhile, could hardly wait to get her hands on L’Oréal Paris’ new Préférence Wild Ombré Kits, £6.99 and took one home, arriving in the office the next moring to rapturous applause when she turned up with picture-perfect ombre tips.

In celebration of all things hair colour, we have rounded up a few of the most exciting colour products and treatments that have landed on our desks this week. Check them out!
