The weekend proved to be a good'un on the hair and beauty front with a whole array of funky looks out and about, everywhere from London to LA and also over in NYC.

The first beauty we spotted, who might even win the prize altogether, is gorgeous Solange Knowles. Yep, Beyonce's younger and edgier sis was at the Bond premiere in NY rocking a totally fab beauty look. It's those killer brows that get top marks from us (a note for y'all to go browtastic this week) and as for that red lip, well it's perfect. We'll be digging out a rich matte red in the vague hope of copying Sol's great look. Nice work lady!

Sienna Miller

New mum Sienna Miller was out and about at the Hamptons Film Festival looking just as good as she did pre-baby. We're loving her 60's style ensemble and makeup look, which is very Brigitte Bardot, dontcha think? The peach lip, dark hair roots and thick black lashes make for a sexy and sultry look which gets a A* rating from us. You go girl.

Lauren Conrad

Over in LA, Lauren Conrad was at a celeb-studded Veuve Cliquot party looking really rather groomed and pretty. Aside from her long, wavey hair (which we're really envying colour-wise today), Miss Conrad's flawless skin is one we'll be trying to work this week. Remember to use a primer beneath your foundation or better still a BB cream to really get that  A-list glow. Oh and don't forget to add a swirl of bright pink blusher too which will add some colour and contours.

Rachel Zoe

Also at the Veuve party was Rachel Zoe who looked quite the part, fresh from the FROW of Paris Fashion Week. We are seriously girl-crushing on her fringe which not only takes years off but looks fun and quirky too. Another hot red lip and lots of bronzer makes Ms. Zoe stand out from the crowd.

Denise Richards

Beautiful Denise Richards wowed at an event in LA with her huge smile and massive blue eyes - I mean have you even seen such amazing pupils?! We think we can spy a touch of fake lashes which might be why they look so amazing. We like that Denise has gone for more of a pinky-red lip which is a little softer on the face and like that she has pulled her hair back into a chic bun to keep hair off her face and neat. Oh and another dewy complexion to note, which is causing waves of envy at Grazia Towers.

Ashley Greene

Ashley Green also made an appearance at the Veuve party looking pretty darn hot as always. Her sexy smoky eye wins hands-down and we like that she's gone for more of a burgundy bronze tone than a harsh black or navy. Her hair is just the right side of tousled and it's autumnal colour suits her down to the ground. Ashley is also our skin-inspo this week, because she shows how to work that pale, baby-soft visage come the colder months. Remember girls, a paler face can be just as gorgeous.

Nicole Scherzinger

In London, Nicole Scherzinger was looking foxier than ever outside C's restaurant in Mayfair. Her jet black hair and shiny hot pink lip looked ultra-sparkly and seductive - in fact, her locks looked so silky smooth that we've decided to spend tonight applying a decent hair mask to our own lack-lustre mane. Liking your work, Nic.

Alessandra Ambrosio

Modelista Allesandra Ambrosio looked radiant and refreshed at the Veuve party. her lips were nothing short of perfect and glossed over in a skin-toned shiny lippy. Another example of shiny, silkified locks, Ms. Ambrosio looks almost like she has walked straight off the shoot of her Victoria's Secret campaign. Sigh. Her shapely brows are a reminder to get tweezing and shaping yourself - a great arch can takes years off and is a must for just about everyone.
