Here at Grazia Daily we have to admit being quite surprised when it was first announced that Kristen Stewart was Balenciaga’s new muse. In comparison to many of her young Hollywood contemporaries turned fashion darlings (we’re talking Elle Fanning for Rodarte and Mia Wasikowska for Miu Miu), the tomboy Twilight-er isn't known for her high-fashion style or beauty prowess. After all, this is the girl often seen sans makeup or sporting her boyfriend’s scruffy T-shirt. Miss Stewart has admitted herself that she's never been a fragrance kind of gal.
But since the new partnership formed, we've noticed the star's sartorial choices have become more fashionable than ever. She's even - shock horror! - started wearing perfume.
And as the actress arrives at the Balenciaga show during Paris Fashion Week today, we've been treated to this behind-the-scenes film from the fragrance's campaign shoot. It features not only K-Stew striking a pose but also Balenciaga's Creative Director Nicolas Ghesquière.
In the video Kirsten explains how this dalliance with fashion is very new to her. She's been busy observing how other stars deal with the actress/fashion relationship for quite some time. Nicholas, meanwhile, says that they wanted The Florabotanica scent and campaign to explore a bright and beautiful but dangerous garden. Ooh err.
