Gwyneth On Set For Max Factor
It’s been a while since Gwyneth Paltrow starred in a beauty campaign, her last being a bit of a whopper with cosmetics giants Estee Lauder. Today however, that’s all changed with the news that Gwennie has a new beauty gig, as the new face of Max Factor. Make up brand Max Factor have confirmed the signing of Gwyneth as their new ‘creative inspiration’ and will star in a six-month ad campaign starting in November. Each campaign will reflect a different aspect in Gwyneth’s life, Pat McGrath, Max Factor’s Global Creative Design Director explains “I tasked eleven of our national make-up artists to create three glamour statements for Gwyneth. These were to be inspired by her life and the different roles she has to play – model, actress, mother, singer..”.
One of these artists is none other than Mel Arter, one of Grazia’s favourite make-up artists who recently signed as a UK Max Factor make up artist herself which we revealed exclusively on GraziaDaily. Mel explains “It was amazing to be involved in this campaign. Gwyneth was a fantastic creative inspiration, it was so exciting to create looks for her that I thought would work for her and her lifestyle. It’s been incredible to work with the other make-up artists in the network, and Pat, and see the end glamour statements coming to life on Gwyneth.”
It seems that Gwyneth felt it was the right time to embark on a new beauty adventure after parting ways with Estee Lauder to concentrate on launching her own lifestyle website and brand Goop. Having earned her plenty of column inches since its launch and becoming a successful platform for all things Gwyneth, it’s nice to see some make-up back in her life.
