We're already super excited to see a fash-ed up Katie Holmes taking New York Fashion Week by storm on 12th September (that's ONE week, people!) and now rumours are swirling that she's taken yet another leap in her post-Tom ascension.
According to WWD, the actress has inked a deal to become the first ever face of Bobbi Brown Cosmetics. How amazing is that? And what a major coup for the beauty brand who have previously stuck to featuring albeit stunning models like Jessica Hart and Lily Aldridge in their previous ads or, most memorably, Bobbi's very own friends.
Of course, Katie is no stranger to striking a pose for mega campaigns (check them out in the gallery above). We've seen her looking incredibly sultry for H. Stern while for Ann Taylor, she looked girl-next-door gorgeous. Then there were those Miu Miu ads back in 2009 which saw her sporting fierce eye makeup and a sleek quiff. Oh, and let's not forget her turn in John Frieda's video campaign when she played the femme fatale with pouty red lips and glossy waves. Quite the versatile ad star, no?
But what can we expect from a Bobbi Brown Katie Holmes? True to that BB aesthetic, we're thinking natural and neutral tones, radiant skin and no-fuss tresses - and that's exactly why the actress-slash-designer is such a perfect fit for the beauty brand.
Because since her divorce from Tom Cruise was finalised last month, Katie has been looking more glowingly carefree than ever. Gone is the slick bob, severe makeup and hair extensions that we saw during her Mrs Cruise days and in their place is a more natural but no less glossy look to match her brighter, floatier wardrobe. Goodness, we think this just might be the best breakover EVER.
