Trend Tuesday: Invest in a Future Classic Fragrance

In this week’s issue we investigate the brand new breed of scents hotly tipped by industry insiders to become the ‘classic’ fragrances of the future.  Discover exactly what it takes for a new scent to turn to a classic, the new classic notes to look out for and just why you should be investing in boutique fragrance brands.  In celebration of the sweet-smelling issue, we beauty department gals have pulled together some of our favorite classic scents.

 

 

 

Beauty Director Liz Hambleton: The new Chanel N.19 Eau de Parfum, £86 has become a true classic for me.  It’s powdery iris note adds freshness, bringing it to life and when I wear it I feel pretty and powerful all at once.  It's also the only one of my scents universally loved by my friends and my boyfriend.
