And this isn't any old fragrance launch: this all-singing-all-dancing beauty launch is accompanied by a “Dare to Encounter” online journey telling a story of ‘unresolved tension and desire' between uber hot actor Alexander Skarsgård and, quite frankly, the equally hot Calvin Klein muse, Lara Stone.
The experience will begin on the www.ENCOUNTERCalvinKlein.com website, where animated GIFs like the ones seen here cleverly capture moments from the TV ad and bring them to life in an unexpected way. Anything that involves Mr Skarsgård works for us. Upon completing an exciting challenge, users can watch the ENCOUNTER Calvin Klein short film and then enter for a chance to win the grand prize of an ultimate ENCOUNTER getaway. The innovative campaign is the brainchild of consulting creative director, Fabien Baron of Baron + Baron, and will be supported by a more conventional but equally sexy campaign across Facebook, Twitter and YouTube, as well as print and TV advertising, so stay tuned for more.
