Beauty How-To: Grazia Beauty Work The Latest Nutty Lipstick

17 August 2012 by

Nut Cases!

We’re going erm,  nuts for the latest celebrity lippie trend for nutty hues.  From the Grazia clan to the red carpet, it’s the modern way to wear a nude lip without looking like a sixties throwback.  Not only are the varying shades of nude, beige and brown universally flattering, there're all over the catwalk and red carpet proving to be a trans-seasonal hit.  From hazelnut to brazil nut shades, it’s time to take the nut lip challenge.

These nut-like shades do come with a warning though.  No, not a nut allergy but these golden nutty rules.  Oh and the chance that you may get a nutty lip addiction!

-Paler shades of the nut trend need to be a creamy, glossier and luxurious looking texture.  This will eliminate the flaky lip effect that pale, skin mimicking matte lipticks can sometimes give.

-Keep darker, warmer shades matte.  Think Victoria Beckham but when she was Posh back in the late 90’s.
