We’ve long admired the work and products of make up artist Laura Mercier so when we had the chance to have a nosey in her make up bag, we jumped at the chance. If it’s good enough for Laura Mercier’s make up bag, it’s good enough for us!
This is a classic in most make-up artists kits and I’m just proud to say it’s mine. It’s the perfect product to conceal any blemishes and pigmentation and it instantly makes your skin look flawless. I use shade 3 and when I’ve had a little more sun, I just use slightly more of the darker colour. Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage
For me this is one of the ultimate rose perfumes, Frederic Malle fragrance Une Rose, it combines a floral burst of bloom injected with geranium – I just love it. It’s so fresh and rich and a perfect summer scent, I also love the way it looks on my dressing table – tres chic.
As most of you know, I love a red lip. For years I wore nothing but just a red lip – no eye makeup, no foundation, just a crimson lip. It’s one of my favourite looks so my Scarlett lip stain is a great alternative to a strong red lip for daytime. It’s really hydrating and can be used on its own. Just tap a little into your lip with your finger for a subtle sheen of colour. Laura Mercier Lip Stain in Scarlet
I always carry hand sanitiser with me in my purse and have one in every handbag, in every room in my house. When I’m travelling I constantly use it as I loathe getting sick and always use it before doing anyone’s make-up so no germs are exchanged. Cuticura Hand Santitser
The only thing that controls my curly hair – it’s so easy to use and makes my curls shiny and behave themselves! Phillip Kingsley Elasticizer
I’ve been using Rose & Co Rose petal salve for years – I adore the scent. It’s a great balm which softens, hydrates and preps my lips perfectly for lipstick - I also use it on any dry patches of skin and on my cuticles.
Something I use every day whether it’s as an eye base under eye shadow or on its own. My favourite colour is wheat – Laura Mercier Eye Basics
