GALLERY: Get The Look

Inspired by this weeks patriotic [a href="/beauty/archive/2012/08/06/manicure-monday--the-patriotic-special-part-2--6-8-2012-.htm" target="_blank">Manicure Monday[/a]? Try the last look in our series of nail art! It's three looks in one (gems, coloured tips and a Rebecca Adlington inspired Minx nail wrap)! Wear them all at once if you're brave or one at a time for a more subtle nod to the Games.

Coco Nail Bar's Iedy Nagy showed Grazia Daily how to get the look. Click through our gallery for the steps.

Step 1: Apply The Nail Wrap

Apply a coat of clear polish and then lay the nail wrap on the nail using a pair of tweezers to position it correctly.

Step 1: Apply The Nail Wrap

Press down and tug the excess downwards until it breaks off.

Step 1: Apply The Nail Wrap

File the edge of the nail into a neat shape.

Step 2: The Base Colours

Paint all the nails silver, apart from the foiled nail and the middle finger nail.

Step 2: The Base Colours

Paint the central nail gold.

Step 3: The Coloured Tips

Use a fine nail art brush to paint a blue french tip around the edge of the thumb and little finger nails.

Step 3: The Coloured Tips

If you have very short nails, you can paint over the end of the nail and then slide a cuticle stick dipped in nail varnish remover underneath to clean up the excess.

Step 3: The Coloured Tips

Do the same in red on the index finger.

Step 4: Gems

Apply a top coat then lick the end of another cuticle stick and use it to pick up silver, red and blue crystals one at a time. Place them in a vertical line along the left side of the nail.

Repeat on all the silver nails.

Step 4: Gems

They should look like this!

Apply another top coat and you're finished!
