With 8 minutes on my hands it’s important to make sure my face is fully primed and ready for makeup. My skin is particularly dry so I like to lather on Clinique’s robust and luxurious Superdefence, £27 to do this.
Next up is my war paint. Art was never my strong point at school so I use my fingers to smooth on Estée Lauder’s BB Cream, £32. I then go back and build up coverage on the areas I feel more conscious about. MAC Select Cover Up, £14.50, is a saviour for tired eyes!
Curling eyelashes takes 10 seconds but makes a world of difference. I always add Max Factor False Lash Effect mascara, £10.99 - two sweeps widen eyes instantly. Coral blue is my favourite liner for summer, but I swap it for a darker shade when I fancy it to give a nod to a smoky eye effect without going the whole hog. A touch of mascara on the lower lids and the peepers are good to go.
With a large brush sweep I sweep bronzer across my cheek bones and add a touch to my nose and chin (the areas the sun hits first).
Perfectly applied lipstick is a bit ambitious for my 8 minutes but I find that Dior Addict Lip Glow, £22, enhances and nourishes perfectly. It’s very addictive indeed!
