It was a battle of the blondes at the Veuve Clicquot Polo this weekend. Billie Piper, Katherine Jenkins, Mollie King and Jodie Kidd all showed up with luscious golden locks suitable for the Gold Cup battle. We loved their healthy looking tresses so much that we asked hair guru and stylist to the stars Adam Reed how to go about getting their looks.

Billie Piper

Adam said that Billie's natural style is a key look for the season. He said that it would be good for someone with darker hair and any hair type.

Colour: To get Billie's look try getting medium sized highlights through the hair in three colours - from light blonde at the top to a soft golden tone at the ends

Cut And Style: Ask for soft medium-to-long layers. Work with your natural texture rather than blowdrying and use mousse for a little volume.

Mollie King

Adam said that Mollie's look would be good for someone with fine, straighter hair, as it would give it more texture.

Colour: Get Mollie's look with lots of chunky highlights for an overall look of blonde but with colour variation. Add a cream toner for a soft finish.

Cut And Style: Ask for a soft cut with razored edges. Then use a curling wand to tuck in the ends rather than curl. Add a texturising spray to hold it.

Katherine Jenkins

Adam said that Katherine's style is good for shorter hair, although you'll need a little length to stop it looking 'grandma'!

Colour: Katherine's colour looks like an all over colour with soft highlights. It's a high maintenance look.

Cut And Style: She has a really sharp, one-length bob and given it a 40's finish. Get the look by setting it with heated rollers. Spray hairspray on your fingers and run through to break up curls and make the look more modern.

Jodie Kidd

Jodie's look is Adam's favourite. Her look is very low maintenance and great for natural blondes with fine hair.

Colour: Jodie's a natural blonde, but it looks like she has had very fine highlights over the surface. Ask your hairdresser to paint them freehand to add a minimal amount of colour.

Cut And Style: Her cut is very basic, it frames the face a little but is otherwise cut into long soft layers that make her fine hair look thick.
