Please do excuse us while we gather our composure and take some deep calming breathes, because we have just caught wind of the news that Chanel (yes that’s right), has chosen our very own Grazia stomping ground, namely Covent Garden, to open a unique fragrance and beauty concept store in Covent Garden, and in time for the Olympics no less. Wowzer.
The substantial 1,437 square foot store, which is set to open later this month, will be located in the Market Building (only minutes from Grazia HQ!) and include impressive make up stations and a manicure salon too. As it currently stands, the two floor store is set to be a pop up for a six month period, though if successful, might stay for a longer period of time.
Beverley Churchill, the brand director of the Covent Garden shopping area has said “To be able to work with Chanel is a coup for the estate and a further proof point of how the area has changed.”
So please if you will, excuse us for the next six months if the regularity of our Graziadaily blog posts slow down and magazine production grinds to a halt – because we’ll most likely be down at the Chanel pop up having multiple manicures and trying out all of our favorites backstage beauty looks from the brand’s past shows.
