Chanel Cruise 2013: Now You Can Buy Those Velvet Logo Beauty Transfers!

UPDATE: Sorry peeps, we've just had news in from Chanel HQ that the lovely transfers are in fact NOT available to purchase at present despite widespread rumours that they were. We're doing some seriously wishful thinking over here though in the hope that Karl might change his mind...

Even more hot news on the Chanel front after their epic show in Versailles that had bloggers and Twitterville all in a spin… After yesterday’s brilliant bold beauty looks we are BEYOND ecstatic to hear that the tiny little interlinked C’s that were placed delicately on the girls faces will soon be available to buy at Chanel counters worldwide. Eeep!

After seeing the likes of Cara Delevingne and Lindsay Wixson with them on, we were dying to know whether they might be available to us mere mortals and the good news has just been confirmed.

The velvet C-C beauty transfer

In keeping with the haute hair and makeup look as seen at the Versailles Palace on Monday, the beauty look which was “girly meets rebel” according to Chanel’s creative director Peter Philips, was finished off with the tiny velvet transfers. Affixed to the models around the upper cheekbone area, the little logos looked utterly cool in that very Chanel-egant way that only Karl knows how to do. Philips placed the “beauty spots” on himself whilst the girls had their wigs touched up by Sam McKnight. And the best news of all is that you’ll be able to get your hands on them too when the brand’s forthcoming Collection Versailles de Chanel comes out.

The brand's Les Tromps L'oeil de Chanel tattoos from 2010

It was only a few season's ago that Chanel released their Les Tromps L'oeil de Chanel temporary tattoos which caused a sensation of waiting lists and outcries worldwide as beauty fanatics pushed and shoved to get their hands on a set. At £49 a set, they didn't come cheap but we all wanted to get our hands on them. And we can only predict that these super luxe velvet ones will be even more in demand. Seriously peeps, form and orderly queue, these babies are going to be M-E-G-A.
