Coco Rocha and Nicola Roberts Jump on the Pink Hair Band Wagon!

It’s certainly not the first (or the second or the third) time that we’ve mulled over the merits of the pastel pink hair trend here at Grazia Daily. It was only a few months ago that we were discussing Lauren Conrad’s take on the trend and we've spent many an hour taking hair-spiration from our gallery of our favourite celebrities currently in the pink. Then this weekend, we spotted not one but TWO new takers of the candyfloss trend...

Coco Rocha and Nicola Roberts Jump on the Pink Hair Band Wagon!

First up, Girl’s Aloud-er Nicola Roberts unveiled her new hair do with a snap on Twitter that she captioned: “Ginge gone PINK.”  Now, our Nic’s not one to be colour shy – over the years she has experimented with various versions of blonde and brunette – but we have to admit to being somewhat surprised by her new tousled pink crop that has us recalling punk princess Charlotte Free. The new look might or might not be something to do with the fact that she is currently filming a fashion show with her designer pal Henry Holland for Sky Living.  Plus it just so happens that it's being produced by pop chameleon Rihanna!  Yikes - no wonder she's feeling the pressure to stand out.

Then the much awaited Met Ball happened last night. As you will no doubt have seen from our jam-packed gallery of dresses, hot pink was the colour of the night in homage to Elsa Schiaparelli, but it was Coco Rocha who outdid a veritable sea of pink outfits with her hot pink new hair.  While we are quite used to seeing bright colour-pops in blonde locks, Coco is the first red-head we've seen working the trend and forget pastel pink, these tips were full-on fuschia! Paired with her yellow Givenchy jumpsuit previously worn by Elizabeth Taylor (and with a wine stain to show for it), the look has been a non-stop talking point here at Grazia HQ.

So what are your thoughts on going pink?
