After a short week at work that's meant lots of extra bits to do before the Bank Holiday weekend, our skin is, let’s just say, a little worse for wear. So when we spotted Miranda Kerr out and about this week wearing zilch make-up, we sighed heavily with jealousy. Seriously, who looks this good when leaving the gym?! It's no wonder the Victoria's Secret Angel has just been voted Who magazine’s Most Beautiful Person Of 2012 for the second year running!
THEN we spotted Keira Knightley hitting the Box club in London last night (with her hot boyfriend James Righton in tow) and rather than lashings of lippy, the actress kept her beauty - and fashion - look super simple. Well, when you've got cheekbones like that and a natural rosy glow, who needs make-up?
So with an extended weekend ahead of us, we’re taking the opportunity to steal some beauty tips from the bare-faced pros and indulge in some skin TLC. With a little help from some facial oils and some balmy lippies, we’ll be imitating those fresh faced beauties in no time. So what do we have in our make-up bag?
For starters, we’ll be slapping on The Organic Pharmacy’s Antioxidant Face Firming Serum that’s your one way ticket to radiant skin. Not only will our tired skin get a much needed energy boost with the antioxidant ingredients but it’ll prep your skin for future stress. We will be alternating the serum application with a layer of Swisscode Pure Hyaluron. Packed with the most amount of hyaluronic acid available, it’ll inject some super moisture into the skin which automatically equals plumper, glowing skin.
Now, we believe the secret to pulling off this brave, bare faced chic style is in the lips. Finding your ‘no-lip shade, lipstick’ is crucial. Finding your natural, skin lip colour, with just a touch of berry makes your lips and skin look younger and fresher. We’re currently loving Clinique’s Chubby Stick Moisturizing lip colour balm in 05 Chunky Cherry and L’Oreal Paris’s Caresse Lipstick in 301 Dating Coral are our perfect no lip lippy.
