Here in Grazia Beauty it’s fair to say that we are fairly major Julia Roberts fans. Excuse us while we shamelessly swoon, but isn’t there just something very special about those glossy locks, the pale, perfectly clear skin and that awesome smile?
In her upcoming movie Mirror Mirror, 44 year old Roberts’ plays an evil queen who is prepared to go to extreme and painful lengths to retain a youthful appearance. But it's not a situation true to her personal life; this Wednesday, the actress told Kit Hoover on Access Hollywood Live that there's absolutely no room for Botox in her day-to-day life.
Presenter Kit Hoover asked “Do you worry about trying to stay young in Hollywood? Do you try to do anything?”
And the reply? Well, read the amazing sound-bites from Roberts below and you’ll find out:
“I tried the Botox one time and was permanently surprised for a couple months and it was not a cute look for me.”
“My feeling is, I have three children who should know what emotion I’m feeling at the exact moment I’m feeling it,” Julia told Kit and Billy Bush. “Like, that is critical.”
“As a mother it’s whatever works for the person,” Julia continued. “I don’t want to judge somebody who can’t turn their head or move their lips. I don’t know — if you want your chin on your forehead I’m not one to [judge]. If that’s going to bring you joy, I’m all for it.”
Do we hear a hint of sarcasm in your voice Miss Roberts?
