Unusual New Skin Picks: Meet Willow Water and the Grit Doctor

27 March 2012 by

Sometimes something a little bit different lands on the Grazia Beauty Desk that takes our fancy, something that isn’t a cream or wax strip or hair mask. Today it comes in the shape of a lovely water bottle, reminiscent of sunny Summer days like today and being outside. And it’s called Willow Water. This normal tasting spring water comes from the Lake District and contains a unique blend of minerals that have been shown to be effective in creating clear skin. Wahoo! We all know about getting your 8 glasses, but water that has skin-boosting minerals in it is a true godsend. And with the hotter days looming and the London Marathon coming up in a few weeks, we thought it only honourable to share with you.

And talking of running, one member of Grazia Team Beauty who was previously a bit of a jogging-phobe (er, bit of an understatement), has been hitting London’s parks with more va-va-voom and motivation than usual, and it’s all down to one thing... the Grit Doctor, AKA Ruth Field and her amazing new book “Run Fat Bitch Run”.  A witty, no-nonsense read, it had us dusting off our trainers within seconds. Trust us when we say you’ll be up and running in no time at all.
