I’m a lip gloss addict. But please bear in mind that not just any shade of gloss will do: mine have to be nude. From pink to beige and blush tones, I’ll give anything a go in the name of discovering if it will make my ultimate (and finely tuned) shortlist of neutrals. With this in mind I’m pleased to announce there’s a brand new entry to the club. Please allow me to introduce Revlon’s Colourburst Lipgloss in Bellini. While it might not look like the most easy-to-wear or flattering neutral out there, fear not because it really is a.m.a.z.i.n.g. After watching mega makeup artist Gucci Westman apply it recently, I had to get my hands on it and I’ve been applying it on the hour, every hour (apart from when I’m sleeping obviously), ever since. Why do I love it? This beauty totally neutralises my reddy tone lips without looking chalky. It’s smooth enough to cover my chapped skin and it’s like a hybrid between a gloss and a balm so it leaves me with a baby balmy mouth I can rock day and night. Phewf! Who knew a lip gloss could be so thought provoking!
