So we've already seen what the stars wore to the Critics Choice Awards 2012, but how did they compare from the neck up? It's time to crack out our Beauty Jury hat and assess the looks from last night. Join us!
Do The Twist

We begin with Charlize Theron who looked like a medieval princess thanks to a ladylike plait sweeping into a swirly side bun. It was the perfect sleek-and-chic accompaniment to her black Azzedine Alaia gown.

Evan Rachel Wood could have been Charlize's doppelganger last night, swathed as she was in an almost identical floor-sweeping gown by Valentino with her blonde hair pulled into a twisty 'do. We love the array of ways ERW is wearing her crop, from a funky quiff to this glam-appropriate style.

Meanwhile, Emma Stone also went for a lady-like up 'do to show off the interesting neckline on her Jason Wu frock. We're loving how she's softened the look with a side-sweeping fringe and wispy strands to frame her face.
Colour Pop Pink

Another lady in black was Kirsten Dunst and how has she perked up the Christian Dior dress? With a colour-popping lip, that's how! Bravo to her for picking such a striking shade of pink that's oh-so-on-trend.
Great minds think alike as Diane Kruger went the same colour-popping route. Her grey and yellow Prada gown could've easily washed her out if it wasn't for this splash of hot pink. For extra style points, she perfectly matched her lipstick to her clutch bag. What a clever lady!
Be A Boho

Admittedly, it may be a little creepy to be so enthralled by a 13-year-old, but we can't help ourselves when Elle Fanning continues to knock it out of the sartorial ball park. The Rodarte gown she wore last night was another hit and she made the most of those sunflower embellishments by pairing it with lashings of beachy blonde waves. And would ya look at that kooky yellow eyeliner she's sporting? You go girl!

Elle's fellow boho babe was Elizabeth Olsen. We're wondering if the girls made a matchy-matchy plan beforehand because they both chose yellow frocks topped off with tousled tresses. Elizabeth's look is a tad more tonged in comparison to Ms Fanning, but the laid-back sentiment is what it's all about.
So twisted, colour-popping or boho – which beauty look will you be trying?
