What better excuse to try a new barnet than the start of a brand new year? While we’re a little ashamed to say that on the Grazia beauty desk, there’s little to report on the new 'do front (old habits die hard), but luckily those celebrity types can be relied upon to be more adventurous. Allow us to introduce our favourites so far…
People often change their tresses after a break-up and that's exactly what Olivia Wilde, who recently got divorced, has done. She's got a new man (hello Jason Sudeikis!) and a foxy new look to boot. Gone are the sleek brunette locks she was sporting in 2011 and in their place are a much lighter, bouncier and more frivolous lob (that's long bob). While there’s no denying that those straight locks were perfectly lovely, don’t you think these new tresses make her look that much sexier - and more youthful too?
Michelle Williams hasn’t played with the length of her hair for a while, sticking with the gamine, Mia Farrow-esque pixie crop - and who can blame her? But at the Palm Springs Awards this weekend (where she just happened to win the Desert Palm Achievement Award for her role in My Week With Marilyn), the actress debuted a new hair hue that is much warmer than the icy-blonde locks she has favoured since playing ultimate blonde bombshell Marilyn Monroe. Despite harbouring a secret longing for that cute bob from her heady Dawson’s Creek days, we quite enjoy this reddy-brown colour and reckon it complements her colouring and gorgeous eyes brilliantly. Bravo!
There really is something about Cameron Diaz, right? We never seem to be able to get enough of those beach blonde locks and uh-mazing envy-inducing limbs. While holidaying in Hawaii (we’re even greener with envy), the lovely lady has been spotted out and about debuting a super-cute choppy bob. Though by no means a new look for Diaz, it’s a definite step away from the longer, boho-esque locks that she’s been sporting over the past few years and we likey. Do you?
Can you guess who this is? It's only the Barbie-tastic Paris Hilton! No, seriously. At first, we thought she'd hit the bottle and taken inspiration from our very own Kate Middleton by going brunette but it is indeed a wig. Boo. We think she looks mighty chic. What are your thoughts, peeps?
