Product Pick: Getting Handy

04 January 2012 by

There’s nothing like working at a desk to guarantee copious hours spent procrastinating and staring vacantly at one’s hands, or so we’ve realised over the past couple days. This in turn has made us realise that there’s nothing quite like dry, chapped and dare we say ruddy hands to make one feel old and wrinkly.  And there we have it - our first collective beauty team resolution; to take better care of our mitts.

Prepare to meets our hand, erm we mean brand new dream team…

Cowshed for Liberty Dirty Cow Freshening Hand Wash, £14 at www.liberty.co.uk – Wow this smells good and it looks just divine sitting on our sink too. Grapefruit essential oil tones while petitgrain refreshes and it’s paraben, petrochemical and sulphate free too!

Lanolips Rose Balm Intense for Very Dry Hands and Nails, £8.99 at Boots – Officially the best hand cream that we have EVER known. And we’ve tried allot.  We also love its handbag friendly form too.

Frais Pocket Size Hand Sanitizer, £2.75 at www.cultbeauty.com – Super-luxe, super-portable and super-natural this is an absolute must for all you city dwellers.  Don’t even think about touching anything on the underground without it.

Revlon Nail Enamel in Vixen, £6.49 nationwide – You might not know that Revlon, renowned for their famously long lasting nail enamels in fabulous colours are re-launching their entire range on 23rd Feb this year.  With all the old faves and plenty of new beauties we’re currently enjoying a love affair with this sexy, sultry red.
