Madonna Stars in the Ad For Her New Perfume, Truth or Dare: FIRST LOOK!

Awh, how thoughtful. Madonna’s dropped off a gift just in time for Christmas. Is it a fishnet stocking packed with bejewelled leotards and conical bras? No sillies, even better! It’s a sneak peek at the campaign for her forthcoming fragrance, Truth or Dare. Treat yourself, take a look:

Oooh la la! The beady-eyed among us may recognise these sultry black and white images - and that's because they were not taken exclusively for the perfume ad. In fact, they were taken by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot for a 2010 editorial in Interview magazine. We're loving Madonna's recycle chic and can't blame her when she looks this foxtastic. The singer-turned-director is looking every inch the Hollywood glamazon, topless except for striking lipstick and her trademark crucifix, plus a mass of blonde waves. And no, you haven’t had one too many glasses of mulled wine – that is indeed herself she’s cosying up to. Genius or creepy? We can’t decide... 

As Grazia Daily reported last month, Truth or Dare by Madonna is not only a scent, but a colossal lifestyle brand masterminded by the 53-year-old.  Not content with being the Queen of Pop AND a movie director, Madge has created a label for grown ups after the success of Material Girl, her and Lourdes’ range for teens. It is ‘designed to showcase the duality of her image, a power icon intertwined with feminine beauty’. So that explains the bizarre doubling up.

Next, we’ll be treated to footwear, handbags and intimates from ToDbM, for which Madonna will again be the model. Blimey, is there anything this woman CAN’T do? Maybe having a clone isn't such a bad idea after all...
