Right, so now that's out of the way and you're ready to start shopping, it's time for Grazia Team Beauty’s lowdown on what we’ve got our eye on...
Paul & Joe Lipstick, £11
Liz Hambleton, Beauty Director – I always keep a look out for good lipsticks in the beauty sales. A girl can never have enough! I like to double them up as eyeshadows too and always have a few stashed in my handbag. Paul & Joe have long been a favourite of mine so I have my eye on their lipstick in Save For Later (£11, was £15 - www.asos.com).
Marc by Marc Jacobs Oh Lola! EDP Set, £25
Liz Hambleton, Beauty Director – I am a big fragrance fan and as they are often quite expensive, the sales are the time to stock up. Be sure to get there early though as sale savvy people always snap up the leftover Christmas sets in seconds. I had a Marc Jacobs set wrestled off me at the Selfridges Boxing Day sale once and I won't let it happen again! (£25, was £50 - Selfridges - in store only)
Rodial Life & Style Rehab Set, £36
Lauren Murdoch-Smith, Beauty Editor - I’ve got my eye on this set because I am a Rodial junkie. Not only is this a huge bargain but I love this new range from the brand and want to get my friends onto it too. I often buy things and save them up for friends birthdays throughout the year. (£36, was £60 - www.asos.com)
Nails Inc The Candy Shop Collection, £18
Lauren Murdoch-Smith, Beauty Editor - Everyone knows I am a bit of a nail gal at heart, so I like to browse websites for good nail varnish deals when the sales start, especially colours that are exclusive to sites. Bang on trend for Spring’s pastel trend, this is my dream purchase. Plus, the set is perfect for taking on holiday. (£11, was £25 – www.asos.com)
Pixi Autumn Essentials Bag, £22
Rose Beer, Beauty Writer – I have also got my eye on this beauty as it’s a favourite brand of mine and you are getting all those products AND the make-up bag free. The best thing about this is that I can use it in my hand luggage when I am going on work trips and weekends away. No faffing about at security for me! (£22, was £30 – www.asos.com)
de Mamiel Winter Facial Oil, £59
Angelica Hermon, Beauty Co-Ordinator – I am a real sucker for a discount so always head to the big beauty halls. My usual trick is to go a couple of weeks in so that things have been reduced again, a double beauty bargain! This year I will be an early bird though because my favourite website are doing a secret sale on Boxing Day for 48 hours. You get £10 off any order over £50 and it means I can stock up on all my favourite foreign beauty buys like de Mamiel Winter Facial Oil (£59, www.cultbeauty.co.uk)
