Armpit botox in Manchester? We're Mad For It!

What better way to spend the afternoon than in the glorious spanking new 20,000 Sq ft beauty hall in Selfridges Manchester Exchange. There’s the biggest MAC counter in Europe (check out the colour pigment wall), an Armani counter, the first Blink nail bar, which might possibly boast the neatest and nicest nail painters in the land, Illamasqua and a Fake Bake salon, again, another first.

So after a perfect mani and brow tidy at Blink, the afternoon finished with a, not for the faint hearted, one for the embarrassing bodies clinic treatment…..Botox in our arm pits.  Ok, we’ve said it and we’re not embarrassed.  Whilst in the more than capable and caring hands of Dr Fiona Cowie of Chesire Contour, who pops in to carry out such treatments in the plush rooms of Fake Bake, she gently fixed us of our ahem, sweat issues and we could only imagine whose faces and bodies she had treated in her time as a cosmetic consultant in well, WAG land!   If you’re wondering, it takes no time and it doesn’t hurt, we can honestly say waxing and threading cause more of an issue in the pain department.

So ladies, if you’re heading to Manchester or happen to live there, you should make Selfridges your first beauty port of call-it’s a one stop wondrous beauty shop!!
