NEW GIRL CRUSH: Elisa Sednaoui is the new face of Roberto Cavalli's fragrance!

25 October 2011

We love a bit of fashion blue blood here at Grazia Daily. Especially when that blessed individual happens to possess a perfectly symmetrical face, feline eyes and enough effortlessly stylish outfits to keep our girl-crush stoked for many lunch hours on end.

May we introduce to you the ravishing Elisa Sednaoui, daughter of fashion photographer Stephane Sednaoui and goddaughter of none other than Christian Louboutin? The Italian born Sednaoui first came to our attention as a Victoria’s Secret model in 2007 (where does one go from there?) and since then has been captivating us with her sinfully cool wardrobe and her artfully aloof gaze in everything from glossy editorials to Karl Lagerfeld’s extravagant Chanel Resort film last season (we want that accent!).

Unsurprisingly, like all of those lucky individuals at the top of fashion’s genetic pool, Sednaoui also happens to be multi-talented. Quelle surprise. Her recent achievements include directing a documentary film about Egypt (where she spent six years of her globetrotting youth), a music project with French composer Thomas Rousel, and an ever-increasing roster of acting work starring in films with both French and Italian actors (when we last checked she was tri-lingual but she’s probably picked up Russian and Mandarin since then). It’s all in a day’s work for this modern Renaissance woman.

And now it appears she’s reached even bigger time, as she’s been announced as the face of the new Roberto Cavalli fragrance, to be revealed in February 2012.

Said Cavalli of his new muse, “Elisa is self-confident and she has an amazing personality. She has got this animal side, she is enthusiastic, really sexy with a stunning body and hypnotic eyes. She is the woman every woman would like to be, so she is the real Cavalli woman.”

Which pretty much leaves us with nothing more to add except we now feel a tiny bit sick in our stomachs when we see this vision of perfection and imagine her collection of Louboutins.

Is Elisa the woman you would like to be? Notes on a postcard below, please. Sign them off with kisses and we might even post them to Elisa - don’t expect a response though, she’s probably too busy coming up with the cure for the common cold whilst modelling a box of Kleenex and looking fabulous while at it. Sigh.
