Beauty News Flash: Chanello!

13 June 2011

You might just have noticed by now, that anything emblazoned with those famous interlinked Chanel ‘C’’s is guaranteed to get Grazia Team Beauty all of aflutter in a matter of seconds. Yup, those clever people at Chanel really do  know how to get our pulses racing.

Most recently the brand has come up with a truly other-worldly beauty treatlet, to celebrate the know-how and tradition of the Artistic Design Houses, Peter Philips (Chanel Make-Up’s Global Creative Director just FYI), has created the (cue drum drum roll please) ‘Lumieres Byzantines de Chanel’. Ok, so it’s a bit of a mouthful, but this palette is one helluva beauty. With only 1,500 being made, each one is individually numbered making it not dissimilar to buying a work of art. Oh and the five cream shadows in it are pretty spesh too – with white, yellow, pink, bronze and silver, it’s basically your go-to palette for the seasonIf you can bring yourself to use it that is. Wonder how quick these bad boys will sell-out?
Lumieres Byzantines de Chanel, £130. Available at Chanel Boutiques in Sloane Street, Brompton Cross and Bond Street.
