The Best Beauties at the SAG Awards!

31 January 2011

We know that whenever there's a star-studded awards ceremony, it's the Couture gowns and diamond decolletes of the Hollywood harem that get scrutinised first (check out the Best Dressers here!). Over at Grazia Team Beauty's HQ, however, we're on the look out for some inspirational make-up and hot hair styling. So when pictures from last night's SAG Awards hit the desk this morning, we couldn't wait to compare and contrast the glamourous girlies. So here's our verdict...

Wow! Our personal favourite just has to be Natalie Portman. With dewy, glowing skin (a bonus of being preggers) and a gorgeous 50's style hair-do, Nat definitely ruled the red carpet.  We're loving that soft, smokey eye + rose-pink lips combo and feel that a subtle side parting might just be making a comeback. Well, we've certainly got the urge to give it a go... Ms Portman, we salute you and your fabulous red carpet ways!

In second place, or 'best supporting beauty look' award goes to Hilary Swank for her super-styled, wavy locks. The perfect shade of caramel blonde, Hilary's hair is THE definition of va-va-voom and looks as bouncy and healthy as ever (someone's been taking their essential oils). As for those shiny pink lips, we are seeing a little nod to Spring's pastel palettes and notice how white it makes her teeth look, girls? So not just a pretty face then Hilary - how, um, Swank-y.

Last, but certainly not least, we have Eva Longoria, the ultimate brunette bombshell. Considering that the Grazia beauty desk is made up of four blondes, we often get a dash of hair envy for a bold brown fro. One particular team member is even considering converting after seeing this one! With perfect height and volume and those deep chocolatey tones, Eva's hit the nail on her perfect head with this look. Add those frosty eyes and soft peach lips and she looks a million dollars (those mega diamond earrings are certainly helping, too).
