Chanel’s Global Creative Director of Makeup, Peter Philips has taken a break from, let's face it, THE BEST JOB IN THE WHOLE WORLD, to have even more fun. LVMH's culture website Nowness is currently screening a stop-motion short film featuring various cute and chic characters created by Philips from those distinctive glossy black makeup pots. Animated by the makeup maestro himself (no, really - studied graphic design before attending Antwerp’s Académie Royale des Beaux-Arts), we're a little bit in love with the tiny wide-eyed character, and the chic Chanel-suited supermodel, who instantly made us think of back-again 80s Chanel "face" Ines de la Fressange... We've always loved playing with makeup, but this takes it to a whole new level.
