Puerto Rican Queen of the catwalk, Joan Smalls, has recently walked for Christian Dior, Gucci, Marc Jacobs, Versace and everyone’s favourite gothy star-maker, Riccardo Tisci at Givenchy, and now she's bagged an Estee Lauder ‘spokesmodel’ role! Yay! And well done! Despite the fact that many of the most in-demand models EITHER specialise in runway or photographic work, Joan’s dewy face is as lush as her legs and the beauty industry are just as keen on her as the couture houses.
Joan has been modelling since 2007, although it wasn't until 2009 when she met Riccardo Tisci that things began to go big for her. She modelled for the Givenchy Couture collection in January of this year and since then has been in constant demand. We think there is something quite pop star-ish about her face.
