So there’s absolutely no doubt that summer is well and truly over. At least, that’s what our electricity bills are telling us - we don’t seem to be able to keep our radiators off at the moment! Nevertheless, it’s still slightly too early for snow, even in NYC. So at Howard Street in SoHo on Tuesday, there were men shovelling piles of the white stuff outside the huge Jil Sander store. One rather sad looking storekeeper stood looking on as if considering whether to venture outside for lunch - don't do it, dear!
We’ve heard rumours that the faux snow was playing prop for an upcoming shoot that's something L’Oréal related. Wind machines blew and flakes flew as smoke billowed down the block. The director called 'Action!' and a willowy blonde wearing shearling, jeggings and some inappropriately high heels (for snow + cobbles, at least), emerged from the mist.
