Yikes. When Team Beauty planned a jaunt to France on the day of the tube strike, we considered it an intelligent decision. Having booked a taxi to the Eurostar, clever us for avoiding public transport. Or so we thought, until the 15 minute journey to the Eurostar turned into 2 hours in terrible traffic and we missed 1 (nearly 2!) trains. Arriving in Paris and leaving the hideous congestion behind, we headed to The Hotel Evreux where we grabbed a speedy sandwich and fries, were landed 3D glasses and told to lie back on reclined beds to watch a brilliant film designed especially to celebrate the newest addition to Issey Miyake's olfactory range. This is the life! So L' Eau D'Issey Florale lands in March 2011 and we're convinced its deliciously light and refreshing rose scent will attract many a younger customer, as well as being a hit with fans of the original fragrance. But must dash, Eurostar calling... See you on the other side!
