'It's a fashion moment' at Haider Ackermann

'It's a fashion moment'
As Paris FW goes into it's fourth day, Haider Ackermann opens Saturday morning
with a graphic, art like look and we're not just talking about the clothes.
'We're making the hair not look like hair' Eugene, the king of catwalk hair told
us, 'I want it to look different at all angles' and it sure does!  Taking a
classic hair style and making it modern, sleek hair has been made techno- shiny,
the french pleat has been made graphic and the ponytail has been made super
shiny in a straight strip. It's as Eugene envisioned 'a piece of modern art'. If
that wasn't enough to take tickle your artistic side, Stephane Marais painted on
an 'expression' on the model's faces using an eyeliner to sketch on a thin brow,
making sure one was raised, whilst the other stayed rested, giving the
impression that they are pulling a continuous expression. 'It's a catwalk show!
You won't want to try and recreate this at home!'

As Paris Fashion Weeks enters its fourth day, Haider Ackermann opens this Saturday morning with a graphic, art-like look for his models, and we're not just talking about the clothes. 'We're making the hair not look like hair' Eugene Souleiman, the king of catwalk hair told us, 'I want it to look different at all angles.' And it sure does!

Taking a classic hair style and making it modern; sleek hair has been made 'techno-shiny', the French pleat has been made graphic, and the ponytail has been made ultrar-shiny in a straight strip. It's as Eugene envisioned 'a piece of modern art'.

If that wasn't enough to take tickle your artistic side, make-up king Stephane Marais painted on an 'expression' on the model's faces using an eyeliner to sketch on a thin brow, making sure one was raised, whilst the other stayed rested, giving the impression that they are pulling a continuous arch-browed look. Interesting. But as Marais says 'It's a catwalk show!  You won't want to try and recreate this at home!'.

PS and last but not least... These fashionista wannabes sneaked into Haider Ackermann just as the doors were closing. Watch ladies - these are probably fashion editors of the future!
