Grazia Daily is NOT happy about MEN muscling in our territory - first net-a-porter's Mr Porter, and now, a new Chanel fragrance, Chanel Bleu - for men! Of course Chanel have produced fragrances pour hommes before, but still, we would like Mr Lagerfeld to continue focusing on ze ladeeez with his time.
And guess who directed the ad campaign? Only Martin 'Taxi Driver' Scorsese. And so this is the Grazia Daily Multiplex's latest offering in our continuing series of fashion commercials that are actually mini-masterpiece movies, following last week's Frank 'Sin City' Miller's Gucci Guilty film starring Evan Rachel Wood.
In case you were wondering, that impossibly handsome chap in the Chanel film is French actor Gaspard Ulliel. Sure, he's no Robert de Niro, but when he looks like this, who cares? The plotline follows a dare-we-say typically-French tangled menage a trois - resulting in the sexiest press conference since 'Notting Hill'.
So enjoy the campaign for Chanel Bluuuuuur below. See if you can you spot Kaiser Karl's blink-and-you'll-miss it cameo (get back to work on some handbags, please). It's like fashion's answer to Where's Wally...
