Flappergasted: Lancôme Fall 2010 Makeup

We promise we’re not forgetting it’s a beautiful day, and fingers crossed, that pesky wintery weather stays off for a few months yet, but we could barely control our excitement at the little parcel from Lancôme that landed this morning. It appears that for winter 2010, the brand are celebrating the 20’s and the vibrant, independent women of the era with metallic greys, plums and sophisticated nudes straight out of the Belle Epoque.  Just check out the campaign (featuring Daria Werbowy and Electtra Wiedemann and shot by none other than Mario Testinon f.y.i).

Lancôme artistic director Aaron de May comments, "Together, this pair perfectly expresses my vision of a hedonistic era during which women freed themselves of conventions and were able, for the very first time, to express their personality through their style, clothes, hair...and of course their makeup."

Loves it! Keep your eyes peeled for the heavenly La Rose Deco Powder – perfect for a luminous rosy glow. We predict this one won’t be hanging out on the shelf for long.

The Lancome French Coquettes Collection is available exclusively at Harvey Nichols from the 20th August before going nationwide from 1st September.
