We love Miss Aniston for her healthy all-American glow and cheery spirit, and are altogether excited and intrigued by the news that her first scent, Lolavie is set to launch at Harrods come mid-June. We can’t deny our initial surprise at J-Aniston’s decision to jump on the fragrance band-wagon, though the actress has stressed that this was not about slapping a name on a product and claims that the year-and-a-half development process has turned out to be a creative expression and extension of herself. Claiming not to be a fan off ‘big perfume-y fragrances’ Jen describes the scent as a “non-perfume perfume.’ It’s meant to be sexy, clean and inspired by the outdoors and the beach, she told WWD: “I want people to go, ‘What is that? You smell great!’ But most of all I wanted it to smell natural.” In turn, the bottle is inspired by waves and Aniston’s affinity for modern architecture, while the origin of the name remains a mystery. “It’s a long story and honestly it’s too personal to tell,” she said. “But it has special significance.” Plus, rumour has it the lovely laydee will be making a personal appearance at Harrods and we can’t wait! Oh how we love you, Jen.
